SMU student Edmund Koh Joo Peng asked Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong whether it was fair to tie HDB upgrading in an Oppostion ward like Potong Pasir to votes while Eugene Tan asked if the PAP practises politics in a way that discourages people from “jumping into the frayâ€Â. Dexter Ng, a 23-year-old SMU student, commented that while the debate with the Prime Minister was lively, he felt that the participants did little to press him on the social issues, especially the cost of living.
