Commenting on the current sentiment that one among the new batch of 24 PAP candidates could become Prime Minister, Eugene Tan, Assistant Professor of Law at the Singapore Management University, cautioned that even if these candidates are outstanding in their own right, they need considerable time in politics before they can lead a country.
