Singapore makes big improvement in closing gender gap

Speaking at SMU's “Women in the Community: Sustaining Change” conference, Second Finance Minister Lim Hwee Hua noted that notwithstanding the progress made by Singapore women, many of them still leave the workforce prematurely to assume family responsibilities.
