University fees to increase, the fee hike is highest for non-citizens

Tuition fees for freshmen joining SMU for the Academic Year 2011 cohort are S$10,190 (for all undergraduate degree programmes except Law) and S$11,250 (for the undergraduate law programme). This represents a S$300 and a S$330 fee adjustment respectively or a flat increase of 3 per cent. The fee hike for non-citizens in all three universities is between 8.1 and 107.8 per cent.
