Understanding kampong life through art

From now till 17 December 2010, well known artist and calligrapher Lim Tze Peng will be staging an exhibition at the SMU Gallery entitled ?Kampong Life?. In the 60s where the use of cameras is not prevalent, Lim captures the spirit of the Malay Kampong life, using his paintbrush to document what Singapore was like in its developing years.
