New master's in lslamic law and finance at SMU

SMU is on track to launch in the first quarter of 2012, a new master's programme in Islamic law and finance. Speaking yesterday at the 17 th Annual World Islamic Banking Conference in Bahrain, Mr Ng Nam Sin, assistant governor of development at the Monetary Authority of Singapore, said the programme will serve the growing Islamic finance industry in Asia. More details of the programme will be announced by SMU in the first quarter of next year.
