New accounting rules a blessing for SMEs

Associate Professor Themin Suwardy observed how the amount of changes to accounting standards have led many to feel overwhelmed and that financial statements, and the rules under which they are prepared, have become exceedingly complicated for most people. He is also Associate Dean at the School of Accountancy and is one of the instructors of SMU's new executive MBA programme.
