Our new generation of entrepreneurs ? Can they make it big?

[SMU Chairman] Ho Kwon Ping writes that he often meets young Singapore entrepreneurs who have started their own businesses or have dreams of doing so in the course of his work with SMU or with Banyan Tree. Besides advising them to not over-romanticise the notion of entrepreneurship, he advises them to start thinking about two things: First, to expect to fail, and second, if they do not fail, how will they scale up their business.
