Assistant Professor Eugene Tan is not surprised that the Reform Party is not joining the Singapore Democratic Alliance and now wants to tie up only with Potong Pasir MP Chiam See Tong and his Singapore People's Party. He said: ?Reform Party's move is a necessity because at this point in time, it needs to decide if it wants to stand on its own or join forces with SDA. As for a RP-SPP alliance, Mr Chiam is not receiving much support for now as he still has to work out the terms of the partnership. We shall see what Mr Chiam's next move is; time is not on his side.?
