Universities and their rich legacies

NTU President Su Guaning wrote, in a column, that universities are complex organisms, each with a life cycle of its own whether it be a new-born organism like SUTD, a young child like SMU, a 55-year-old like NTU, or a venerable entity like NUS, each has its own unique DNA, determining how its history unfolded and how it responds to new challenges.
