Backpacking food for charity

Capping off weeks of fundraising including street collections, the student organisers from the SMU Special Interest & Community Service Sodality have exceeded their S$50,000 target and raised more than S$78,000 in cash and kind for the SMU Challenge 2010. This will go towards their beneficiaries under the Geylang East Home for the Aged and the Society of Moral Charities.
