Opening eyes to new horizons

Under the Flagship Infocomm Master's Scholarship, which is part of the National Infocomm Scholarship (NIS), Kevin Chia took up the SMU-Carnegie Mellon Fast Track Programme which allowed him to obtain his Bachelor of Science (Information Systems Management) from the Singapore Management University and his master's degree in IT from Carnegie Mellon University. Scholars on the NIS fast track master's programme are able to complete both degrees in four to four-and-a-half years.
