Europe's best-kept secret

Led by senior lecturer Tom Estad, a group of 26 SMU students had the opportunity to meet the CEOs and top management of some of the most outstanding companies in the world during a business study mission (BSM) in May to Norway, Denmark and Sweden. The BSM has broadened their horizons to another way of doing things, and one important lesson they learnt was the concept of sustainability, in addition to profitability.
