Touch Community Services and City Developments Limited have come together in a novel charity campaign: From Aug 21 to 27, CDL will donate $3 to Touch's food distribution programmes for every photograph of a meal mailed to shareurmealsg [at] gmail.com. A similar campaign in the US had sparked off the idea in SMU student Tim Mou Hui, who chairs the shareURmeal Singapore! 2010 campaign. Together with two other SMU students, his team hopes to raise $3,000 from 1,000 photos uploaded and their longer-term aim is to make the campaign a "permanent fixture" in the Singapore community calendar.
