Singaporeans love to complain to the great dislike of their fellow countrymen

Singaporeans have been found to be adamant about lodging complaints. In a discussion involving sociologists on the matter, SMU Assistant Professor Hoon Chang Yau noted that it could be because Singaporeans believe in the power and efficacy of authorities and are somewhat reliant on these agents to resolve their problems.
