The Singapore Management University's (SMU) Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship has introduced a new programme allowing students to work hand in hand with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to help the firms boost innovation. The internship component is a major factor that differentiates this programme from other courses, said the director of the Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Desai Narasimhalu. SMU double degree student in business management and accountancy, Laureen Bay, thinks this is a good stepping stone to learn about business.
