Corporate governance will be extended to cover all industries

[SMU Pro-Chancellor] Mr J Y Pillay, who is SGX Chairman, spoke on corporate governance at an event on Friday. Moderating the panel discussion, SMU Associate Professor Annie Koh asked Mr Pillay how many companies should an individual take up directorship at. He advised that this depends on the individual but he would recommend less than five.
