Local universities raising tuition fees by 3-10%

Singapore's three publicly-funded universities are going to raise tuition fees for undergraduate studies in the upcoming academic year to reflect the increased costs from bringing in top academic talent, and to improve the teaching staff to student ratio. SMU freshmen who are Singaporeans will pay 3 per cent more, which comes up to $10,920 per year for its Law programme, and $9,890 for all other undergraduate courses.
