'We will grow into a university'

SMU's [former Deputy President] Professor Tan Chin Tiong, who heads the Singapore Institute of Technology, envisions it being Singapore's 5 th university. His vision for SIT is to eventually offer dual degrees with their overseas partner universities. He knows the challenge is to let polytechnic graduates know that their route to the universities lie not only in NUS, NTU or SMU.
