Double-barrelled race option for children

Senior Minister of State for Law Assoc Prof Ho Peng Kee told parliament that parents from different races can soon pick double-barrelled race classifications for their newborns. SMU Assistant Professor Hoon Chang Yau who had suggested this recently as a better reflection of a mixed-ethnicity child's identity, also speaks of the challenge of implementing this.
