Should comparative political systems be taught in school?

Last month, Law Minister K Shanmugam proposed that schools teach comparative political systems. In a discussion, SMU Assistant Professor of Law Eugene Tan warns that the programme may 'elicit resentment and cynicism, drowning out the key messages' if it is perceived to be biased and designed to achieve a partisan political goal.
