Two organisations set up computer courses to help ex-offenders become more adaptable

SMU and the Industrial and Services Co-operative Society Limited (ISCOS) started the Ex-Offenders Re-Skill Programme over the weekend. Assistant Professor Lee Wee Leong, who is responsible for teaching the Microsoft Excel curriculum, said that as the software is widely used in the market, it will be an important tool to help ex-offenders reintegrate into society, improve their chances of employment and also raise their self-confidence.
