Speaking at the sidelines of the MTI Economic Dialogue 2009 at SMU yesterday, Keith Tan, director of the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) economics and strategy division, said that the chance of a double-dip or W-shaped recession was 'quite low'. Mr Harvey Cheong and Mr Joel Ng were among the recipients for the MTI Best Thesis Prize and the MTI book prize respectively.
