Law Minister K.Shanmugam pointed out that there will be an almost 70 per cent jump in the number of law graduates when the first group of SMU law students graduate in about two to three years' time. And for those who cannot get into law schools or are graduates from other disciplines, there are alternative routes, such as the Juris Doctor degree from SMU and overseas.
