45 accountancy students get jobs before graduating

The first batch of business students in NUS who pursued an accountancy specialisation has found jobs. NUS says this is due to the compulsory internship all its accountancy students undergo and also the high turnover rate in the profession. It adds that two-thirds of all Business Administration graduates had found jobs, down from 80 per cent two years ago. NTU traditionally produces around 600 accountancy graduates and SMU graduates about 200 of them.
