Interview with Dr Li Yuan on his landscape photographs. Dr Li will deliver a lecture for the Lien Fung Colloquium this Saturday, on nature as a recurring theme in traditional Chinese art, and how photography is a means for him to discover and understand nature and also enabled him to translate his understanding of Chinese poetry and even Chinese philosophy and cosmology.
