Singapore adjusts the bar to admit lawyers trained overseas
Stefanie Yuen Thio, joint managing director of TSMP Law Corporation, said there will be a significant glut of lawyers in the market in the short term with SMU pushing out its first batch of law graduates soon and more foreign lawyers admitted to the bar due to the relaxation of guidelines.
