An annual survey of the service standards of health institutions found that 74% of patients rated the public hospitals, national specialists and polyclinics as excellent or good last year, down from the 76% who said the same the year before. The Health Ministry cited a separate study by SMU last month which found that customer satisfaction had fallen across various sectors.
