Chan Chun Sing: Singapore should fully play to own advantages and enhance global competitiveness

At the Singapore Economic Policy Forum, co-organised by SMU and the Economic Society of Singapore, Education Minister Chan Chun Sing highlighted Singapore's competitive edge in international cooperation. Speaking during a fireside chat on Monday morning (October 14), Minister Chan emphasised that strengths like policy consistency, the rule of law, and intellectual property protection allow Singapore to differentiate itself from countries with larger populations and natural resources. These attributes make Singapore a reliable partner in global collaborations.
