In a commentary, Nikki Kemp, Director of the Singapore Green Finance Centre (SGFC) at SMU and Martijn Wilder, Chief Executive Officer of climate and nature investment and advisory firm Pollination, discussed why private sector flows are key to financing nature-based solutions. They explained how financing the shift to nature-positive business practices also represents a huge opportunity for Singapore. They shared about SGFC and Pollination's recent roundtable discussion where the city’s leading financers shared how they are responding to the need for nature investment, what challenges and opportunities they are seeing, and what changes might be needed to increase the flow of finance.
