In a commentary, SMU Associate Professor of Law (Practice) Darius Chan and another legal expert discussed how disputes in an evolving business landscape can be managed. They concluded that instead of simply allowing a tribunal or court to decide the outcome of a dispute, it is in the interest of international businesses to put in place considered policies and clauses to proactively engage in appropriate dispute resolution.
