SMU Senior Lecturer Whitney Zhang Wei discussed in this commentary how global changes are affecting the small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). She outlined three ways that SMEs can prepare themselves, so as to greatly increase and reverse the probability of business survival. She concluded that businesses that are prepared and constantly upgrading are the ones that will be able to overcome challenges and turn dangers into safety.
