Income should not neglect its societal mission after corporatising

In a commentary, SMU Associate Professor of Law Eugene Tan discussed his concerns after NTUC Income announced its intention to convert its current legal structure from a co-operative to a corporate company. He explained that once Income goes corporate, it must continue to draw inspiration from the continued push for innovation, especially for those who never thought they could afford insurance. He concluded that this focus on providing affordable insurance must continue even after corporatisation.
