Commentary: Does Singapore just have too many F&B outlets?

In a commentary, SMU Associate Professor of Marketing (Education) Seshan Ramaswami discussed how the pandemic and accompanying restrictions have hit Singapore’s food and beverage (F&B) industry hard in many different ways. He opined that the pandemic marks a reversal of fortunes after a golden age for eateries, as many now suffer. He believes that Singapore’s F&B industry will witness continued disruption even after COVID-19 passes.
