A study by SMU’s Centre for Research on Successful Ageing (ROSA) found that the elderly have been adjusting their lifestyles to adapt to the new normal under the pandemic, and their mental health status has gradually improved since the Circuit Breaker. Compared to last April when Singapore was at the peak of the pandemic, their concerns about getting infected with the coronavirus has fallen from 40 per cent to 27 per cent in November. The research leveraged data collected from the Singapore Life Panel.
