Through virtual interaction with SMU students, migrant workers had a more fulfilling quarantine period

The SMU Rotaract Club and SMU Uni-Y jointly piloted Project Yokefellow in August, where 40 student volunteers went online every Friday to interact with migrant workers who were undergoing quarantine, until early October. They had also organised activities for these workers, with the aim of keeping them engaged during this challenging period, and to alleviate any stress which they might be experiencing. Following the pilot, the students hope to further expand their activities and to provide regular support for these workers.
