In a commentary, SMU Dean of Law Professor Goh Yihan and VK Rajah, a former Supreme Court judge of appeal and former attorney-general of Singapore discussed the slew of legal problems that will arise in the wake of the current Covid-19 health pandemic, as contracting parties reassess their business agreements. They highlighted the need for Singapore to be prepared for this legal tsunami that will pose unique challenges for our legal system after the circuit breaker concludes and proposed a three-pronged approach to mitigate the legal epidemic.
