SMU’s Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship is organising the 10th edition of the Lee Kuan Yew Global Business Plan Competition (LKYGBPC). This year's competition has been titled ‘Reimagine smart, sustainable and resilient cities’, and challenges student teams to develop innovations to urban challenges. Professor Gerard George, Dean of SMU’s Lee Kong Chian School of Business, and Professor of Innovation and Entrepreneurship said that he hopes the competition will inspire top young innovators to tackle global issues, whilst demonstrating to the global community Singapore's conviction and ability in innovation and entrepreneurship. Submissions to the LKYGBPC officially opened on 25 July 2019 and will close on 17 November 2019, 11:59pm.
