Four SMU students collected 3,500kg of clothing for Middle Eastern refugees

The Freight Club – a group comprising a SMU alumnus and three SMU students – collected 3,500kg of old clothing for Middle Eastern refugees during their recent collection drive held at SMU and through their outreach on social media. This is way beyond the target of 2,000kg that they had set for themselves. The clothing is expected to meet the needs of more than 3,000 refugees over the next six months.
