SMU alumna and Nominated Member of Parliament Yip Pin Xiu, who won a gold and two bronzes at the 3rd Asian Para Games last month, was at the Athletes Achievement Awards to receive her prize. She is hopeful that the support given will encourage more young people to work hard and be committed to their sports and also promote a bigger base of athletes. She also hopes that it will get more people to engage in an active lifestyle.
