SMU’s Lee Kong Chian School of Business Advisory Board Member and CEO of CapitaLand Commercial Lynette Leong highlighted that a growing body of research has shown that executive teams with more ethnic and cultural diversity, especially with more women, generate better financial outcomes and meaningful innovations. She added that with increased globalisation and mobility, organisations will see more of such diversity. Women, who are customers and employees themselves, will play a particularly crucial role in bringing unique perspectives to the table and creating new solutions.
