SMU student volunteers help to develop soft skills in primary school students

Since the end of April, a team of student volunteers from SMU has been visiting the Stamford Primary School each Friday, to impart communication skills and emotion management technique to the primary school students. This is part of the Nurture Programme, which mainly targets students from low income families between the age of 7 and 12. The 15 students from SMU are also recipients of the Quantedge Foundation Scholarship, which was set up to provide scholarships to needy students.
