Delaying entering the university to venture into the business world

SMU student Zeng Xin Yi, who is currently studying accounting and business management at the University, took the unconventional route of setting up her own business after finishing her studies at Victoria Junior College. She delayed her university studies to set up BOW (Bags of the World) to provide bags that are versatile with multi-functional purpose. Ms Zeng shared how her journey as an entrepreneur was not always smooth sailing, and recounted how she worked hard to bring her brand onto the global stage. Even though she is now back in school and busy with her schoolwork, Ms Zeng still carves out time to market and improve her products, and launch them in overseas markets.
