SMU will join the recently expanded Lean LaunchPad Programme – an entrepreneurial training programme for researchers – where research scientists and engineers learn about the technology commercialisation process. During the programme, which takes place over 10 weeks, participants gain knowledge about the technology commercialisation process by directly engaging with potential users and customers. The National Research Foundation will be funding S$8 million over five years for this programme to be rolled out nationwide and within the campuses of Nanyang Technological University and the Singapore University of Technology and Design.
