Claire Au, the founder of beauty brand Auolive, graduated from SMU with a degree in Business Management in 2004 and began working in the luxury goods industry. But because the "entrepreneurial bug was calling", Ms Au took a shot at being a hawker in 2007, selling fish soup with her businessman father. She said: "I wanted to try my hand at running a business, and we had a good family recipe." After she sold the business in 2010, she returned to the corporate world as an account manager, which she left in 2014 to focus on growing Auolive. Auolive's four key products are Swiss-formulated with natural active ingredients and manufactured in Singapore. They are available at Naiise at Katong I12, Shaw Centre, The Cathay, Tangs VivoCity and online.
