Twins Darren and Barry Yuen not only look identical, they also share the same interests. They have been studying in the same institution and taking up the same co-curricular activities since they were in primary school. In their academic journey, they encourage and compete with each other, spurring each other on to achieve their very best. Both of them achieved excellent results and are graduating together from SMU with a Bachelor of Business Management, majoring in Finance. Darren and Barry, who come from a humble family background, are grateful for the bursaries and financial assistance they received during the course of their study at SMU, which made it possible for them to not only complete their university education but also receive international exposure such as overseas internships. Darren said, “We believe that no one should be constrained by their family background. If you work hard, the opportunities are there for you to seize.”
