SMU and Lippo Group will run a one-day industry leaders dialogue to discuss the future and potential of Asean's e-commerce, digital and supply chain industry at Hotel Aryaduta in Jakarta on Sep 26. The event will host Indonesian business leaders, members of the Singapore Chamber of Commerce in Indonesia and the Indonesian Chapter of SMU Alumni Association and will serve as an interactive platform for participants to exchange ideas about opportunities and trends. “SMU wants to contribute to the close collaboration in business, government and civic society between both countries by providing more opportunities for exchange and internships, strengthen our collaboration with partner Indonesian universities in research and postgraduate education, and foster more industry tie-ups with the private sector,” said SMU President Professor Arnoud De Meyer. He believes that this will foster ties between the two countries and will help create and develop talent in both Singapore and Indonesia.
