SMU Juris Doctor alumna Thenuga Vijakumar was featured in an article which highlighted her efforts in helping community animals and the types of questions she has had to answer in her line of work. Thenuga shared that the one question which makes her angry is, "Can you remove / relocate this cat?” She stressed that humane management is about achieving co-existence between the people and animals of our community. As the President of the Cat Welfare Society, she noted that the two biggest challenges they face are fundraising and finding succession.
