SMU’s Lee Kong Chian School of Business (LKCSB) debuted at number 36 in the 2015 Financial Times Executive MBA (FT EMBA) ranking while the EMBA programme offered by NTU Business School was ranked 10th. The UCLA-NUS EMBA programme and the EMBA programme offered independently by NUS Business School were ranked fifth and 25th respectively. The EMBA ranking rates the best 100 programmes worldwide for working senior executives, and is based on a survey of business schools as well as their students who graduated in 2012. The data measure how successful alumni have been in their career in terms of salary, seniority and achievements since graduating. Commenting on the FT EMBA ranking, LKCSB Dean and Professor of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Gerry George noted that the SMU EMBA programme provides students with opportunities for immersions in countries like China, India and America, where they are nurtured to develop personal competencies to take on business leadership positions.
