Speaking at the 7^th Ho Rih Hwa Leadership in Asia Public Lecture organised by SMU, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong said that Singapore will face critical challenges in the next 50 years in keeping the economy strong, raising total fertility rate and strengthening national identity. He added that Singaporeans must work together with the government to resolve the longer-term challenges brought about by a rapidly ageing population and globalisation.
